This book is dedicated to the Humboldt brothers, Alexander and Wilhelm. Alexander, in particular, succeeded in passing on a complex body of knowledge to future generations. In the spirit of his work of systematization and archiving, the design of the catalog is based on files and forms. The content of the catalog is clearly structured. The chapters are separated by colored pages. The pastel colors used are reminiscent of file covers that have faded over the years. The clear form is broken up by deliberately placed comments and markings. New knowledge is added to existing knowledge. In this way, research, results, and findings are collected that are still relevant today.
