Inspired by the work of graphic designer Ariane Spanier, which the group discovered in the exhibition The F*Word at the MK&G, the students experimented with analog kinetic typography. They studied the historical background and found analog kinetic typography in many different areas—shadow plays of bronze letters on monuments or flags with writing blowing in the wind. The students published their experiments, the workshop concept, and both analog and digital animations in their publication and on the website.
