It's not about me is a series of posters by Thuy Linh Dang. The works combine analog printing, experimental typography, and digital animation. Line grids—inspired by Kapitzki's parametric system—form the basis for animated edge structures. Transformations were examined photographically by deforming and distorting typography through light and shadow. The poetic word system emerged from the egocentric axis system, in which words were evaluated according to three criteria or axes. Finally, the student experimented with different pronunciations of an AI voice in different languages and translated the rhythms into visual reactions. Thus, grids, transformation, language, and sound intertwine to form a visual language that remains in constant motion.
