Typeface is a central element of visual communication, but its design often follows rigid rules. The rhizomatic concept Paths and Threads breaks with this understanding and favors an open approach. Based on the rhizome theory of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, writing is understood as a living, evolving network. Like a botanical rhizome, the model connects forms and enables flowing transitions. Axes and ligatures organically create new variants and dynamic adaptations without clear boundaries. With an open-source approach, the infinite font Rhizome can grow collaboratively.
