What is actually wrong? And who decides what is right? The beauty of errror explores the poetic power of error.
In an age in which technological singularity is no longer a mere dystopia but a reality, in which the pursuit of perfection is considered a noble virtue and visual worlds are designed by artificial intelligence, it is essential to recognize error as a valuable aspect. The mistake becomes a necessity as an expression of the humanity of the individual.
The installation consists of an atmospheric network of fragmented interviews with relevant artists (Mark Vernon, Rosa Menkman, Felix Kubin & Marta Zapparoli), alienated video collages and a soundscape of interference artefacts, found footage, field recordings and synthetic sounds. It explores the tension between order and chaos, perfection and imperfection.
