HAW Hamburg 2013
The 8th session of the lecture series Stilvorlagen. Design and Society is dedicated to the theme “behind the scenes.”What sort of process results in an effective wayfinding system? What about a compelling brochure? How was it made? And what ideas were considered—and then discarded?
Our guests Eva Rucki (APFEL) & Emma Thomas (Troika), Nicolas Bourquin, Richard Niessen, Christian Riis Ruggaber, I Like Birds, Doro Stahmer, Daniel Behrens, and Thomas Ackermann (PBLC) talk about how ideas come to life and what the processes before and after the design phase look like.
Each event is organized and accompanied by a student lecture group. This group is responsible for the conceptual and visual design of the preparation, workshops, posters, installation, interview, and lecture, which are all published as part of a joint publication.
The publication for Stilvorlagen #8 consists of five Riso-printed brochures, each with a smaller title sheet as a cover.
