Inspired by the work of Jan Banning, this workshop focused on collage as commentary. The photographer documents authoritarian power structures and the consequences of war. With his striking formal language and his courage to expose the darker sides of society, Banning creates a powerful commentary on our times.

Then the hands-on part began: cutting, tearing, gluing, copying, discarding, and reassembling. From these diverse fragments emerged expressive compositions—some so immediate and compelling that they worked as finished posters, others as raw drafts later refined and developed further.
