Reduce, alienate, assemble, comment! Design a typographic-graphic poster as a commentary on time. There are 10 rules:
→ Work with your hands: copy, assemble, and stencil!
→ Look for images and text material on your theme and reduce them.
→ Make your first small sketches and then work very quickly on the large format.
→ Copy, assemble, and collage the material immediately.
→ Write down ten adjectives that come to mind for the theme: e.g., dynamic, loud, energetic ...
→ Choose three words and combine them with the word ‘surprising’.
→ Let these words guide your design.
→ Work intuitively: let the material inspire you.
→ Always respond to what you create!
→ Develop the poster as you work!
Caroline Ebert’s and Laura Holst's poster was presented in public space at the international poster competition Mut zur Wut (Courage to Anger).
